Associazione Amici a 4 Zampe wins the Italian Buddhist Union’s 2024 Humanitarian Grant!

We’re thrilled to share some wonderful news with you all: Associazione Amici a 4 Zampe has been awarded the 2024 Humanitarian Grant from the Italian Buddhist Union (Unione Buddhista Italiana). Thanks to this generous contribution and the support of our community, we can carry on our work for animals in need.

With the funds we’ve received, we’ll put in place a series of key projects to improve the lives of the animals in our care. Our main plans include:

• Better healthcare: we’ll step up treatment and medical attention so we can offer targeted care to the animals in our Park.
• Behavioural rehabilitation: with the help of a specialist trainer, we’ll help our four-legged friends get over trauma and emotional difficulties, so they can settle into new families more easily.
• Awareness campaign: we’ll start an educational programme in local schools to promote responsible adoption and responsible care of animals.
• Cat neutering: we’ll run a campaign to reduce the number of stray cats and improve their quality of life.

These projects won’t only help our animals: they’ll also have a positive impact on the community, encouraging a more thoughtful and respectful relationship with all living beings.

A special thank you goes to the Italian Buddhist Union for their support and for believing in our project. Thanks to them, we can look to the future with fresh hope and determination.
